SurfKitchen announces support for BREW and RIM Devices
September 08 – SurfKitchen was at CTIA Wireless IT & Entertainment in San Francisco earlier this month. The annual industry fest embodied the ever-changing, dynamic innovation associated with the world of wireless data in Enterprise & Entertainment and provided an ideal backdrop for SurfKitchen to announce the extension of its cross platform reach to include BREW and RIM BlackBerry platform, in addition to Symbian, UIQ, Microsoft and Java.
Michel Quazza, CEO SurfKitchen said: “Worldwide, over three billion people now use mobile phones. To significantly increase data ARPU, mobile operators need to be able to offer an enhanced and personalized user experience – not only on high-end devices, but also across their entire device portfolio. This is why SurfKitchen is focused on cross-platform reach and with BREW and RIM, we now support more device platforms than any other on-device portal vendor.”
The addition of BREW and RIM device coverage supports SurfKitchen’s expansion in North America and builds on the integration of SurfKit Phonetop with Qualcomm’s uiOne.
